⟡ Disconnect to reconnect:
as remote workers and especially in the age of digitalism, we can be so dependent on technology more than we prefer. In our retreat, we are very deliberate in prioritizing presence, disconnecting from our digital devices during our excursions, and in our communal activities. We highly encourage our participants to embrace solitude, mindfulness, and self-contemplation in all our workshops, activities and whenever they feel called to! we encourage saying No for an answer.
⟡ Tranquility over the hustle:
Here at Zenera, we commit to a digital life that is slower, gentler, intentional, and yet equally productive. Our retreats are designed to elevate your work-life harmony in the serene, all-year summer destination here in the Maldives. yes, we commit to getting work done!
⟡ Unparalleled nature galore:
Enough said, nothing beats the Maldives and you have to see it to believe it! on this retreat, think snorkeling with nurse sharks, stingrays, turtles, and exploring a shipwreck! we can’t wait to show them to you.
⟡ Authentic local infusion:
One of the best ways to experience the true essence of the Maldives is to live on a local island. unlike other local islands that have lost their authentic appeal because of mass tourism, thulusdhoo retains its quiet and simple way of living, one that often goes unnoticed by the conventional tourist path. we love it here and can’t wait to show you!
⟡ Community connection:
Take this chance to foster connections and collaborations with other like-minded ocean-loving individuals from all walks of life!

The Maldives is not a cheap destination to visit. In terms of accessibility, supplies/materials can be hard to get in on some islands.
While there are no existing hostels in the Maldives, we work with a locally owned highly rated guest house in one of our prime local islands. Our selection of guest houses is modern, homely and boosts great reviews on Booking.com/Tripadvisor.
Know that the price you are paying is affordable compared to a regular night stay at any of Maldives’ upscale luxurious resorts. We encourage anyone interested in our retreat to consider that you are not just paying for the amenities, curated activities, and services, but also for a unique location and a highly curated trip that is unlike any other in the world <3
Outside our excursions, meals and accommodation, all of our curated activities that are designed for self-discovery, wellbeing, and mindfulness do not have a “price tag” that you can easily have a breakdown of. They are experiences that are intangible (and fulfilling!) and you will not find them in regular accommodations except for a curated experience like a retreat. < :
If you are looking for basic accommodation with meals included during your stay in the Maldives, this trip is not for you. But if you are looking at a retreat, you won’t find one like ours, at least here presently.
Our rates are:
⟡ Single private room $2597 USD ($185/night)
⟡ twin shared room: $2007 USD ( $143/night)* price is per person.
* a $800 USD non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. -

-
No, there is not. It is chosen this way. We encourage co-working in both our indoor and outdoor communal areas.
We may also move to other establishments and co-work from there time to time.
Our spaces are equipped with either fan/ac and are supported with connectivity and spots for charging electronics set up for work.
There will be staff onsite with coffee and juices readily available.

Tourist visa is granted for all nationalities on arrival to the Maldives.
As such, a foreigner travelling to Maldives as a tourist does not require pre-approval for the visa. However, the person must satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival.
We will also assist you in the completion of the Maldives Travel Declaration Form. The form can be completed up to 96 hours (4 days) before your arrival in Maldives.
Submission of the form is free of charge and must be filled electronically via the IMUGA portal.

The Maldives has recently updated its entry requirements regarding vaccinations. Here are the key points:
No COVID-19 vaccination certificates are required for entry
No COVID-19 testing is necessary
No quarantine requirements are in place
Depending on where you are coming from, you might not need to get some vaccines to enter the Maldives.
Based on health recommendations and traveler experiences, these vaccinations are advised for visiting the Maldives:
Essential Vaccinations:
Hepatitis A
Typhoid
Tetanus-diphtheria
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
Additional Recommendations:
Hepatitis B (for stays longer than 30 days)
Japanese Encephalitis (during monsoon season)
The Maldives' tropical climate brings specific health considerations throughout the year. During monsoon season (May to October), we see increased risks of mosquito-borne diseases like dengue fever and chikungunya. Here's what you need to know:
Monsoon Season Health Precautions:
Use DEET-based mosquito repellents
Wear long-sleeved clothing during dawn and dusk

The Maldives has two distinct seasons. The southwest monsoon (wet season) normally extends from mid-May to November. The northeast monsoon (dry season) extends from January to March. The months of December and April are considered as the monsoon transitional periods.
The average air temperature ranges from 25°C to 32°C. The average water temperature ranges from 28°C to 30°C.
We will update our retreat guests on the weather forecast 1 week before the trip.
All activities are subjected to weather conditions due to the nature of the ocean.
We will also advise a packing list accordingly closer to the date.
-
Apart from your usual travel essentials such as lightweight and breathable clothing for daily activities and a few nice meals, toiletries, and personal items, we suggest packing the following for this trip: your passport, travel and medical insurance cards, surf attire (rash guard, surf leggings, sun hat, sunscreen), flip flops, a bathing suit (or a few), a rain jacket, closed-toe shoes (if preferred), a reusable water bottle, natural bug repellent, an adapter and mobile charger, and any necessary medications.
In the Maldives, we use power plugs and sockets of type D and G.
Maldives is a conservative country with traditional Muslim values. This means that, as with many other Muslim countries, wearing revealing clothing in public on local islands is not acceptable.
In the Maldives, it is appropriate for men to wear shorts (knee length) and t-shirts. Women, particularly in local islands should take care to stay covered though, so always wear over-the-shoulder longer dresses, shirts and trousers.Never wear skimpy swimwear unless on boats and marked bikini beaches.
In our Welcome guide, we will specify a detailed packing list for you!
